Our BlueCare Dental^SM program offers two network-based dental products. Both products have multiple plan options. Your clients can choose the best dental plan(s) that meets the needs of their employees.

BlueCare Dental PPO^SM has one of the largest dental PPO networks of general and specialty dentists in both Illinois and nationally, which offers members flexibility in choosing a provider. Dental PPO plans are available to both insured and administrative services only (ASO) accounts. Dental PPO can be purchased as a stand-alone dental product or in conjunction with dental HMO.

BlueCare Dental HMO^SM is a Chicago metropolitan based program that emphasizes preventive and diagnostic care. It is only available under an insured funding arrangement for groups sized 51 or more lives. The group must also offer an alternate dental option to HMO.

BlueCare Dental Connection^SM is a program benefit that provides members with education and intervention through support tools and educational mailings. BlueCare Dental Connection integrates dental care management and health care management with a focus on preventive care and individual involvement.

Groups with 151+ Employees

BlueCare Dental HMO^SM Voluntary Plan is a PPO that requires no employer contribution while still offering the employees the benefit of dental coverage in one of the largest dental PPO networks. The Voluntary Plan is available for groups of 151+ employees.

BlueCare Dental Connection^SMis a program benefit that provides members with education and intervention through support tools and educational mailings. BlueCare Dental Connection integrates dental care management and health care management with a focus on preventive care and individual involvement.

Dental Wellness Center

An important component of BlueCare Dental Connection is the Dental Wellness Center^TM* , which will be available to members and offers online resources and support tools that allow members to:

Ask licensed dentist dental-related questions through Ask A Dentist
Locate a network general dentist or specialist with Provider Finder^®
Determine approximate dental fees in the marketplace with the Dental Cost Advisor^TM
Access educational information on a wide range of dental topics including pediatric care, prevention and dental treatments.
